This page explains what Mold Kitchen (a product of FabLabz, Pittsburgh PA) collects and why. Plain English, no legalese walls — if anything here is unclear, email [email protected] and we’ll clarify it.
Effective date: August 28, 2026.
What we collect
To take and fulfill an order we collect your name, email, shipping and billing address, and order details. Payment is handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. If you create an account, we keep the account information WordPress/WooCommerce stores for you (login, order history).
Files you upload
3D models, artwork, and text you upload are used only to make your mold. We keep them for up to 2 years from your last order so a reorder doesn’t need to start over — and we’ll delete them sooner any time you ask, just email us.
Design Lab
If you use Design Lab, the image you upload is sent to a third-party 3D-generation service to produce the model. We don’t send your name or email along with it.
Cookies and browser storage
We don’t use advertising or analytics trackers. We use your browser’s storage for essentials only: keeping you signed in, holding your in-progress design, and running your cart and checkout (WooCommerce).
Report a problem
If you use the “report a problem” form, we store your message along with the page you were on and some technical details (browser, IP address) so we can fix what went wrong.
Emails
We send order and status emails only. We won’t add you to a marketing list unless you opt in.
Who we share with
We share what’s needed to run your order and nothing more: shipping carriers (to ship it), Stripe (to process payment), the 3D-generation service used by Design Lab (for those images only), and our hosting provider. We never sell your information.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email [email protected]. Mold Kitchen is not intended for children under 13.
